Client-specific work may be transferred or licensed to the client according to the terms agreed for that project.

Payment for a service does not automatically transfer ownership of all underlying tools, source materials, frameworks or intellectual property used to produce the work.

14. Client-Supplied Content

Where customers provide:

  • Images
  • Logos
  • Music
  • Videos
  • Text
  • Fonts

Where Contenva assists with hosting or domain-related services, third-party provider terms may also apply.

Customers remain responsible for domain ownership and renewal unless otherwise agreed.

Failure to renew a domain or hosting service may result in suspension, interruption or loss of access.

19. Pricing

Prices displayed on the Website may be changed at any time before an order is accepted.

Where applicable, prices may include or exclude VAT or other applicable taxes as indicated at checkout or on the relevant product/service page.

Where an obvious pricing error occurs, Contenva reserves the right to correct the error and, where appropriate, contact affected customers regarding the available options.

20. Refunds, Returns and Cancellations

Refunds, returns and cancellations will be handled in accordance with applicable South African law and the specific nature of the product or service.

  • Whether work has already commenced.
  • Whether third-party expenses have been incurred.
  • The amount of work completed.
  • The agreed project terms.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive, exclude or unlawfully limit a consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Where the CPA applies, mandatory consumer rights will prevail over any inconsistent provision of these Terms.

27. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Recommendations

Contenva may participate in affiliate marketing programmes.

This means that Contenva may receive a commission or other benefit when a visitor purchases a product or service through certain links.

Affiliate relationships do not necessarily mean that Contenva owns or operates the third-party service.

Third-party products and services remain subject to their respective providers’ terms, warranties, privacy policies and conditions.
